CiRCO is the Spanish word for “circus” while redempto is an imaginative play on the English word “redemption” and its Spanish equivalent “redención.”
The word redemption means to “buy back, repurchase, help to overcome something detrimental or change for the better” and CiRCO Redempto seeks to accomplish this in the lives of those Nosu Yi children with the fewest economic, social and educational opportunities.
